The housing is made from sturdy steel and completely encloses the camera. Precisely cut-out openings for the lens, infrared sensor and LED arrays do not impair image quality. The gap between the camera and the housing acts as a shock absorber and increases impact and shock resistance. Rainwater can drain away easily through slits on the sides.
Accessible connections
The power connection on the underside of the wildlife camera remains accessible even when the metal housing is in use, so an external power source can still be connected.

The rear of the metal housing offers several mounting options:
- Standard 1/4-inch thread for mounting on tripod brackets or tree straps
- Eyelets for cable locks for additional protection against theft
- Option to secure the housing directly with screws
